I have an Evo 8 MR FQ400 which I have had for the last couple of months, having already owned a 6 and 8 320. Has anyone got any ideas for pulling away fast from standstill. I don't want to do any damage to my paddle clutch as I burnt out clutches in my Evo 6.

Answer is either dont do it and preserve the clutch or rev to 4500 (works for me!) and then lift the clutch and off you'll go like a rocket.

Preserving the clutch on these conditions is quite hard though as its designed to be the bit that wears away rather than damaging your gearbox!!

The paddle should handle a few of these but if you wanna save your clutch dont launch it!!
