Anyone know if there are any programmable ECU out there which can be adjusted with a lap top for £500-700 ????

I don't want the expense of MOTEC and have heard that there is one from HKS called the FconV and also the Apexi power FC......

Anyone know of any others as apparently HKS won't relase the software and it is questionable that the power FC can be programmed with a laptop as they provide their own FC commander ??

The F-Con is a piggy back ECU which gives you full control over
fuel and ignition maps and will allow you to remove fuel cut.
Sounds perfect, and it would be if anyone out there could map
the f11cking thing properly.

I *THINK* HKS Head Office might map one for the public, ill
check .

In an ideal world, for road use, the FCON is *PERFECT*,
shame nobody over hear can map them.

But you will not be able to play with this unit yourself,
HKS wont release the software.

Haltech. (Australian?)

Link.(Australian?)

DTA.(UK)

Autronic.(Australian?)

Emerald M3D.(UK)

Wolf.(USA)

Omex.(UK)

Pectel.(UK)

Electromotive.(USA)

MBE. (UK)

And many others. Motec, Gems etc.

I kinda like DTA - used to be very good value - not sure about their latest stuff.
Not quite as many features as some of the others - but does the job.

Search this forum for more info in past threads.

Get on Google - you'll soon find plenty of info.
