Most likely u r losing boost pressure because of an air leak. The air leak cud b in many places so u need 2 check or have checked the following :-

Blow off valve and connections.
Intercooler connections.
Air feed pipe 2 throttle body.
Turbo compressor outlet.

U will probably post back and ask where that lot is , if u need 2 ask then I wud advise that u take yr car 2 a specialist.

Yeah, sounds like a I/C hose or some other hose has come off or almost come off. Check the hoses. It's happened to so many people so often already.

Maybe you can lose me, maybe you cant, depends on how good you are. And if your car works properly. Just noticed you are new here, sorry to welcome you with a stupid remark on the spelling, but a few people lately got on my nerves with misspelling so many basic words...

Check out my car on http://www.lancerforums.com/registry/vehicles.php?vid|EQU|91 and tell me again if you think you can lose me, baby ;)

You listen to your car! OK, it's probably got more to say than my gf. But try to move the damn hoses from the I/C, BOV etc. from where they are fitted with your hand. If it slips off or is off already, you need to plug it back in and tighten the clamp around it. :)

thanks for all your help and sorry for messing with your threads.
the problem was a combination of two things the noise was a comming from a broken gaskit on the turbo pipe and the other was the cluch sleeve. which was slipping . should get my car back soon.

thanks and speak to you soon

FAO Claudius : when I click the link you give above, I get:
The vehicle selected does not exist or does not belong to you. If you believe this is an error, please email the administrator of this site. Please supply the url as well to help the debugging process.

The link USED TO work. However, 3 days ago, Lancer forums have made the vehicle registry EVEN BETTER, with lots of features such as pictures of mods with description, price for mods, comments from others about the car, etc etc.

The old registry is still available, but under a different url, which I dont know right now. My car is now ID no 6 or so. You can access it from the link to the registry from the main page by simply going to http://www.lancerforums.com and then clicking on the Registry on the top left.

However, I havent updated my car yet, and there is only one picture at the moment. Check back on Monday and you will see all of it. :)
