After years of battle, Customs and Exercise ( ) owe us a car!!!

So we are after the price of a Oct 1999 V plate Rover 420 TD Executive, 5 door, blue all the extras. It was a limited addition vehicle.

But we are after the value of the car for May 2001 , with average miles on it, in good condition.

Parkers and Glasses only give the value of the car now.

An old May 2001 car mag would probably have the value in the back somewhere!

Can anyone help????

Can't help with a specific May 2001 price but the car would have been £17,495 new in October 1999 (from Top Gear Nov 1999). Maybe you could guess a depreciation curve to give you a rough idea from that?

I will refrain from comments about Rovers and depreciation at this point...

i have no idea what the depreciation curve is like for a rover, we are guessing around 11k ish, but would like a more solid figure...thanks anyway
