you gonna do them as a new line?

regarding the manifold you might try cutting the manifold face bewteen each of the 4 ports (3 cuts) to ease the thermal expansion issues. i calculated that the manifold grows 1 mm along this face when it comes up to red heat. potentailly thats alot of force and hence stress at the collector point. cutting between the ports will give each port the room to expand individually.

im looking into this as it goes. i dont really have the time to do these myself but have found someone local that will do, it just depends what people are prepared to pay for them and how easy i can get the elbows. i have a few kicking about to get me going.

as for the manifold........its gonna go in the bin!!! cant be arsed with it, but good idea with the cracking, could well be worth a go. i will be trying out a dc sports one soon i hope.......

yeah, i guess if the machining is very labour intensive people are not gonna want to pay. maybe chromium plate it - might help flow a bit but people will always pay double for shiny bits!
