No mate, it doesn't expire for 3 years plus there's plenty of money in my account.

Only other option I can think of apart from them cocking up is if you have recently changed any payment options and now have bank account as 'primary' payment method and debit card as secondary?

I have a debit card registered with them and I've done almost 100 money transfers before and never come across this :shrug:

Is it close to expiry?

They have been known to ignore a card with an approaching expiry date.

The other options are you have no money in the account linked to the card, or they have cocked up (not unknown)

You need to have a credit/debit card registered with Paypal to do an instant transfer.

If you just have a bank account registered they withdraw money from your bank which has to 'clear'
