Hi guys,

I need some expert opinions from you lot! I am due to fit an apexi boost controller to my evo 4 and i have a walbro fuel pump, de-cat and apexi s-afc already fitted. My dilemma is i have the option to get bigger injectors and a fuel regulator or as i only have a standard intercooler with standard pipes i could get an uprated one. What should i do? Trying to acheive 350 bhp

fuel reg u dont need mate, most of us never had it, its a new trend and u really only need it if u gonna run a mappable ecu and over 1.5 bar boost




your injectors should be fine im sure up to 350

i changed my evo 4 ones to evo 6 ones only coz i fitted an autronics ecu and mark recommended evo 6 ones

i was running over 1.6 boost

intercooler is cool bud i had a standard intercooler running alot of boost and no probs

u know if u wanted 350 bhp or more u should have gone for an ecutek for the price of a afc fuel controller and a sard reg and evo 6 injectors
would have done the job

and also u have to remember evo 4 pistons and rods aint exactly strong as the evo 6 ones

mines snapped and melted pistons too at 1.6 bar
