To define the level of masochism you should attain before buying a yellow car, take a pic of yourself doing the worst thing possible such as skewer your balls and whack them on a lit BBQ, or glue your eyelids open and pierce your iris then submit the pic to http://www.bmezine.com/ If they reject it on the grounds that you're just too sick then and only then should you consider a yellow car.

I never knew that bugs were so numerous or came in such a wide variety of colours and splat patterns, or that the force required to get them off is roughly the same force with which they probably kit your bumper in the first place. Not only do I have bug juice all over my mirrors, but even on the side of the door where they've rebounded, or just been a particularly biggun. Never mind coating cars with paint, they should coat them with dead bugs cos you'd never get another stone-chip and you could probably also withstand a .22 round from 200 yards.

Now I'm no engine polisher or show 'n' shine merchant, but I don't want to be driving a car that looks like **** so I now spend my time with my new best friend...bug removal spray. I hope that stuff isn't addictive cos I've inhaled about 3 litres of stuff in the last hour. Although it might have some mind-bending affect cos if you inhale enough of it and rub long enough, that dead bug carcass starts to look exactly like a stone-chip so can be left alone.

Not only is it a pain to clean, but I've had more ding-dongs with other motorists in this car in the last month that I ever had the whole 3 years I had my VI.

I think Mitsubishi were totally irresponsible selling me a yellow car without the proper psychological preparation. If I go into a casino and join I can't bet until 24 hours later, yet I can go into a car showroom and buy a yellow car that very same day. The law needs to be changed! You should be sat down in the back room and shown an instruction video, "So you think you want to buy a yellow car?"

"Hi, I'm Troy McClure. You may remember me from other instructional videos such as 'There are Better Places to Stick those Knitting Needles' and 'Superglue and You'"

Group buy on black re-sprays anyone?

Fire 3 or 4 coats of wax on the car , that makes bugs easier to shift without resorting to those nasty bug removing sprays (they aren't so good for your paint).
I do have some wax but after cleaning it (twice) and removing the bugs I had had enough :( I didn't even have time to wash the wheels  I'll maybe wax it next time.

Yeah, right :)

LOL! A Car Bra is an American invention Aidy , basically its like a car cover for the front of your car and is predominantly used to combat stonechips, it used to be a VW Beetle and Porsche thing back in the 60s and 70s , I suppose they make them for other cars now , very popular in California I believe.

for example click here

Welcome to the world of driving a big flower all the bugs just love.

Wait till it is nice and hot and you are cleaning it. Before you can even chamois it off they will be frantically climbing all over it in a competition to see who can cover the most square inches of freshly washed car.

I think the Yellow also has a subliminal message attatched so that random motorists think you have insulted their manhood so they must flash their lights at you and generally act the arse.

Would not swop it for a different colour though, Yellow rocks. :D

You should try Reims before feeling qualified to comment on the worst colour to own...
I have to quote this, Reims bashing shouldn't go unnoticed. ;)

it comes with a spray but the bar does the work you just rub it over lightly and it comes off on the bar

its like a wax ,you put it on like it but only lightly then rub it off straight away so far its looked like that for about a week , i havent used a wax that does that

Klasse-all-in-one is an acrylic sealer that is normally used just after you have clay barred the car. Normally you follow the KAIO with a decent wax such as P21S or if you really want to go to town for a showroom finish - Zymol Japon/Concourso.

clay bars are an abrasive agent (literally a bar of small particulate clay like porcelain), usually used to smooth irregularities like swirl marks out of paint before applying the protective wax coat. It will get bugs off the same way sandpaper gets melted chocolate off a desk. ;)

Don't get me wrong, many polishers swear by a bi-yearly clay bar treatment to get the paint back to a mirror smooth finish, and when used correctly it can make an astounding difference to a cars finish. I just wouldn't recommend people doing it every week to get bugs off, the same way you don't T-cut bugs out either.
