Fitted a HKS dump valve over the weekend, after using the car for a few miles i noticed a oily smell, upon checkin under my bonnet, the oil is coming from the dump valve.

Is this as i suspect due to worn bearing seals within the turbo?

Car doesn't smoke at all.

Opinions please.

may well just be a sign that the engine is starting to breath

poss a simple solution is to fit a catch tank as this will vent any oil vapours away from air entering engine.

when i took the standard 1 of,that also had a bit of oil inside.

fit a catch tank and if it still fills it up(quickly) then you possibly have a choked breather,faulty non return valve(in rr of cam cover) or knackered pistons.my mates 3 is in the same state at the minute
