Oil Changes and Additives

Here is a technical question not many address... Is it a good practice to add an oil additive everytime an oil change is performed? I use Synthetic oil, and sometimes I combine it with an oil additive. Is this practice good or not? Thank you..

Most oil additives are just a waste of money in my opinion but if you are happy with the performance from it then I wouldn't suggest you stop using it.

no, if the additive was any good it would be in the oil already

I have always been sceptical of miracle additives , so have never used them , also I can tell u that the makers of Slick50 and other similar stuff have been prosecuted in the US 4 making false claims in their advertising.

You dont need to use additive's with a quality fully synthetic oil your just wasting your money.The only additive which work's that i have tried is zx1.
