Hi all, recently bought an Evo 4 with an Evo 5 engine and ecu, Evo 8 turbo and a few other mods, anyway, started getting a load of oil smoke from the exhaust which i assumed to be turbo seals, removed the turbo and got it fully refurbished. Re fitted the turbo a few days ago and on idle when warm and from cold start i get no smoke, then when driving slowly with the turbo in vaccum i get quite a bit of smoke, nothing when on boost then as soon as you lift of the throttle and come down the revs the road behind me is clouded in oil smoke! Been told a few different possibilities from a blocked vac pipe/breather pipe, and a few saying piston rings or valve stem seals! Should also probably note that while driving oil was managing to push back thru the oil cap (this has now been replaced with a new oil cap with a better seal)

Any help would be truly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Some suggestions are right one.
First check your pcv line, with valve being stuck or faulty. Quite common issue with blue clouds on throttle lift (sudden change from boost to vacuum).

Another option (more expensive to cure) are leaking valve stem seals.
