Friend of mine (24, 2 years ncb, car with Cat 1, Tracker and garaged) tried Bell Direct for an Evo 5 - quote came back at £6000.00 plus !!!!!!. Anyone had any serious real world quotes at around £1800.00? Best we have come up with is from Privilege with £2975.00, and yes we have tried Adrian Flux, Tesco, Direct Line, etc.

Yeah but Claudius is in France.

You need a decent amount of NCB to get a quote as low as £1800 for your sort of age. You roughly get 10% discount per year for NCB. If you were to get a quote for £1800 then I would have to have serious talking to Bell to knock mine down!
Age|EQU|29, 6 years NCB (bonus protected), 10000 miles/annum, Grey Import E6, £350 excess for £1400. I will try Tescos come renewal time.

I dont feel too bad now about paying £1660 on my E6 as there are a few of u a bit older than me (21) paying £200 less than me and even some of you that cant get a quote below £2000.
keep trying the evo is an awsome car and the first quote i got was for £8500 but i keept looking around till i got a good quote because i knew i had to have an evo
