Hi everyone,now had EVO for about 3 weeks,been checking it out etc,seems like its had a boost controller at one point,under battery area think its stock boost solenoid/controller,can see few pipes with one capped off with a screw,will take out battery etc and check better later this week,not sure of what boost i had so fitted a gauge(its had them at one time down pillar by looks)boost on WOT is 10psi,so i take it theres a lot more to come,am i right in saying that the Blitz Access ECU is an off the shelf item,genralised so to speak,or is it set up specific to my set up,i have been informed that with this ECU its not possible to re-map it,or is this not true,engine runs sweet,only noise i can hear is injectors working,no tappets/cam noise,pulls strong like it just wants to go for it,no smoke at all,may or may not have had a rebuild before it came over here in Nov,not sure on fuel pump either but certainly been set up for serious power in past.
I have an Adjustable Bleed Valve that i was thinking of fitting,just to try and see how a little more boost goes,i take it it goes between actuator and intake pipe?.
Thats it for time being,am having a lot of fun, know doubt more questions in time too,here is a few Pics and spec as follows.

standard boost is 0.7bar so you're gauge reading sounds OK
- if it's got a Blitz ecu, has probably resulted in a slight increase in fuel/boost & change in timing /rev limit
...have you looked at the case to see for Blitz logos?...not heard of one for e1-3's

don't use a bleed valve;
if you're going to use a manual controller, get e.g. a Dawes device or other ball/spring item
& limit your boost level to 1.2bar max

Hi mate,

Welcome. Thats Andys (dizzi's) old car isnt it. I dont really know much about it other than I was in the hunt for buying it off him.

The day I phoned him to say i had the cash is the day he dropped it of to you. :cry: :D

Sorry about full stops,was in a rush at the time,did'nt realise :)

As for the ecu xlr8,have double checked,defo Blitz Access ECU,i take it thats rare on a e1,nice :cool: Understand concerns of using bleed valves as i used to run two on my ZX,but was allways in the back of my mind that i could never 100% trust them,so got an e01,nice kit.

Yes Steve,was Dizzi's,and thanks am enjoying it.Depending how things go i may keep it a couple of years and do something special with it,i tend to go down the modified route,have an idea of droping it and going for a wide arch type conversion,will see.
