There are quite a few people who are modifying the early Mirage/Colt's and putting Evo drivetrain/engines in them and having a lot of fun...

Makes for an excellent power to weight ratio! :D

Guys, this colt will have a 1.5 turbo. Not really an evo replacement is it? (also no 4 wd). what is featured in the magazine is the concept car, the production one is very different.

Evolution,

Did you see the new CZ3 Tarmac Spyder at this years Japan motor show?

This one had a full blooded 4G63 with the full 300bhp - and NOT the 1.5 GDI engine that the 2001 CZ3 hardtop was fitted with....

...So maybe they have had a change of heart and gone for the the full monty - I for one hope so - it would be a scream - 4WD, ACD, AYC, and 300bhp in a car that size!

Looks not unlike the Civic above but with a massive spoiler slung on the back!

Sure it will be dynamically better they are obviously looking towards their WRC. Who knows though could all be conjecture. Did it say anything about the engine or drivetrain

I was being pedantic :D Just don't see how you could compare the two, maybe a MR FQ 320

Never mind ignore me ;)
Yeah i know what your saying i thought the same
think they should of used the fq300 ,but i suppose
they didnt cause its all been done before, it says
"putting these to cars together isnt really an even match, as nothing else on the road compares to the fq400 with its cutting edge ability and no-holds barred need for speed and brutel power"and "this car is biult for one thing only: going as fast as possible." It then goes on to say that it has flaws which the scooby doesnt, it also says"shove the scooby throught its gears it will rocket up to 100 in 12 seconds and on the hoof will hold on to the 400's bumper longer than you think." it also slips in the comment of it being 20k cheaper to.

I saw one of these at the last Melbourne Motorshow last month. They look pretty full-on for such a small car, but quite bubble like. It has a very high roof line.

Basically it had all teh Evo bits transferred across - brakes, bonnet, IC, engine, and supposed driveline. At the moment they don't look the business as much as the Evos.

Nice to drive around town in :D
