hi

i have just brought the car 4days ago, and it start dieing when i suddently stop after a 15-30min drive... this doesnt happen everythime but happend 3 times today, and nearly crash as it locked the steering wheel, is it the fuel pump???

please everyone i need help asap

but if not what should the problem be?? is it anything to do with the fuel??

cos when the car dies all the lights, ice, is still on... so i doubt its the power......

yes just sold my scoob....and got my self an evo4

Most likely.

Basically when you come to a rapid stop and vent air that has been through the air flow meter to air, the car overfuels momentarily and this causes the stall.

You can either modify your driving style a bit (don't dip the clutch till the revs have dropped a bit when coming to a stop) or you can adjust the spring tension a bit on the valve. A combination of both should sort you out fine.
