ND 5.5R turbo kit

Anyone using this turbo from Norris Designs?

Any feedback would be useful please. I intend to buy one for my IX GT after the engine has been forged.

Thanks

What power are you looking for . Is this a road car mate ?
Yes road car and for the odd track day through the year.
Looking for 400hp

Car going in to Si on 2nd Nov, so need to decide quickly.
Thanks
I have the new Ross sport stock Frame on mine and I have to say it's a stong unit and makes 540 .

I had this turbo on my evo and if money is not an issue will be superior to the stock frame setup mentioned. On my 2.0L, the 5.5r kit made 605 bhp at 2.1 bar with incredible response! Peak power might be similar to the stock frame option, but the flow will be more with the vband full frame option.

The stock frame won't do 605 Bhp but it's punchy , if you want more than 540 Ross does the tried and tested gt30 hta . Mine did 630 @ 2.1 bar on a 2 litre long rod , still makes 2 bar at over 8k . Both turbos are great drives but totally different characteristics . I should also add that the 30 hta is what I run on my car that holds the mod prod record at Gurston down hill climb .
Thank for the feed back guys.
I've gone for the ND 5.5R turbo kit. Can't wait to see how she performs.:smthumbup

Me too the whole bill is quite a lot!!:smthumbup
Me too the whole bill is well over 13k !!:smthumbup
Excellent . Well good luck . New builds do cost though but guessing at 600 a dry sumo kit is a must too , what spec are you building then ?
The build

This is a road car with the odd track day a year:
Be good to get your thoughts when the projects finished . Good luck .
Goes in 2nd Nov, back on 27th. I'll be sure to keep you posted:smthumbup
Thanks:)
Thatl be a big bill..
Engine builds with the high end stuff is going to be expensive but always pays off in the long run . So many people skimp on curtain things and end up doing the job twice . I know of a few sprint cars that never seem to finish events time and time again .

Agreed. I can't believe how many times I read about people skimping on stuff. And it's always the stuff that needs to be right! Another one is buying a worse aftermarket part than OE! People won't learn though, it's human nature to spend as little as possible

I'd also be very intrested in seeing the results of this turbo :smthumbup
Also the reliability of it too along with the whole package . Interesting stuff .
