Hi, its about time since nearly owning the car a year I did a build thread.

Some of you may have seen the motor on the evolution fb page, originally wanted an evo after my old man on here (leecavturbo) had his, had a starlet glanza before the evo game and since have had an 8 fq300 and now my 9.

So my evo started life as a demo car for extreme (evo specialists) then sold on to a guy called Chris who looked after it prestigiously for 6 years and was detailed/looked after by craig at distinctive detailing (he can probably back me up on the ar and how Chris took care of it) in Nottingham which I have receipts for mounting up to thousands. I purchased it off a guy called Steven Viggars who had owned the car around 6 months and had a few little things fitted including brand new alpine stereo 7inch, tegiwa exhaust manifold, whiteline centre roll kit, stage 1 brake upgrade kit including braided lines and motul cbf600 fluid, a decat, 3 port boost solenoid, Walbro fuel pump and a hks panel filter, all fitted by cpp with receipts. Wheels were also purchased brand new from the wheel company as well as a russ fellows straight through exhaust to replace a miltek system which was too loud. He also purchased a carbon splitter and a seibon carbon rear spoiler from carbon goodies. Also the car has USDM spec rear lights however I'm not sure when these were acquired.

The car was road mapped by Andy fox after having the stage 1 mods fitted as cpp used him as their mapper at the time but obviously there was no dyno printout.

Since I've owned it (March 2016) I have replaced/changed/upgraded the following:

-Prosport boost gauge
-Rocker cover and calipers refurbished in electric blue
-de tangoed front lights
-refurbed wheels in gloss black
-x2 brand new corbeau club sport seats
-brand new meister R ZetaCRD+ coilovers
-brand new godspeed Discs and carbone Lorraine rc6 pads all round
-re-mapped by dyno tech producing 409.1bhp and 428ftlb
-brand new TRS harnesses 4 point
-brand new nankang Ns2r tyres x4
-carbon ams spark plug cover
- super pro 24mm adjustable RARB fitted (20/10/16)
- full underbody clean and underseal (20/10/16)
- brake fluid replaced with the best Castrol srf and re-bled (20/10/16)
-rexspeed carbon brake ducts (20/10/16)
-serviced every interval and aligned by MG Autos (19 stamps)

Mapped by Lee Bell at dynotech (Hayes engineering) producing 409.1bhp and 428ftlb (peak torque, stable about 416ftlb) at 1.8 bar tailing off to 1.6 with nice low 11.7 afrs. Low boost map 353bhp @ 1.3 bar, mapped into I/C spray button.

Little update on the car from 17/02/17, decided to fit new double layer Corbeau thigh cushions to give me that bit more support in the seat and replace the old hks panel filter with a fresh replacement.

Think the next thing to do will be new bushes at the rear and an oil and filter change after Blyton Park on Saturday (will have hd go pro vids at the ready and can post some footage up once it's uploaded)

Eventually looking g to rod job it's just choosing who and where for the best price.

Few pics of the upgrades and a little clean
