Looks good. Personally I think you've lost the best bit of the 7 and kept the worst ;)
I love the 7's front and hate the 7's spoiler :D

How much power you running and has the gearbox been serviced properly?

If you need any advice give me a shout on here or on Facebook page.

Thanks a lot mate its had some service in the passed but it going to have a full service meaning every thing done and checked when it goes back on the the road. The gearbox is spot on and the car pulls like a train makes me smile every time there is no bad knocking going on or nasty smoke the only tapping i keep getting is from the lash adjusters but that's going to be sorted out to. I was told its putting out 340bhp but no dyno sheet to back this up with all so i was told its got a uprated turbo dont know what one tho all what i do know its bloody fast off the mark :smthumbup i have joined your facebook page.

Cheers

lol Sort of agree with the 7s front being very nice. Looks sharp and masculine in IMO compared to 8 and 9. Reminds me of a BNR34's front actually. :)

lol cheers i love the 9 bumpers plus the last owner all ready changed to bumpers but not for genuine ones so they are getting changed again for proper 9 bumpers and the front with have the carbon lip as well every thing is going to be a slow process so my thread will only be updated when things start to move along.

Am i right in saying the GTA's had a bonnet with NO vent in?

If so, do you still have it and is it aluminium???

Yep 7 GT-A has no bonnet vents but still aluminum. Its like a "luxury" Evo, more comfy ride, quieter, it even has unique interior pieces. That's why during its launch it was more expensive then the 7 Gsr.

Ok small update on my evo7 i have been having a right carry on finding a decent bodyshop in my area to do the work it needs doing i think i am now sorted will not know untill next week when i get a call back. A few days back i had evo8frankie come and fit the evo7 front bumper for me and he all so brought me a evo7/8 rear bumper very good of him and a good mate to we had trubble getting the evo7 front bumper to fit right to the car so its best as we can get it untill it goes into the bodyshop to be fitted proper. We was shocked to find when we removed the fibreglass evo9 bumpers (copy) that there was hardly anything holding them onto the car and a lot of the orignal hardware parts were missing what holds the bumpers to the car i was not impressed as the person who i got it off his brother is a bodyshop specialist and to top it off he is or was a mlr member on here the person who i got the car off. So i am having to order all new hardware bits for the rear of the car more so then the front. So for now i leave you with some pics of what the evo looks like at this time.

Before Front

Before Rear

Frankie ready to remove front bumper evo7 bonnet all ready fitted

Front bumper removed

Front bumper fitted as good as can be for now

Rear bumper not many pics taken as it was getting late so taken this one day after.

Yet again a massive thanks goes to frankie again for all the help without him it would not of been possbile:smthumbup hoping for more progress soon :D

Thanks for your reply parapower i have tryed 5 bodyshops local to me all told plus i can't just pick any bodyshop its got to be one that use trade plates or a flat bed truck as the car is sorn at the min as i want all the work doing before i deside to put it back on the road. There was one bodyshop wanted £1900 before we changed the bumpers and bonnet but he asked me what kind of car was it when he came to vist and he asked me was it expensive this put me right off him useing him he even went onto say that my car had been in a crash. Yet the last guy who came out said nothing of the sort he knew what kind of car it was he gived the car a good going over with my self and he did not once say that my car has been in any kind of crash he said its a soild car and very clean he even went onto say that once the bodywork is sorted in his eyes he would put a price tag on my car for £10000.00 I do trust this guy just his price is mega high he works on all sorts of cars from everyday run arounds to lamborghini porsche aston martin mercedes and so on. They even do full restoration he had shown me some of his work unlike the others i had tryed some did not even get back to me one of the bodyshops wanted me to wait 5 weeks before even giving me a quote yet he was only 5 mins away from me. I just want a honest reliable trusting bodyshop to do the work as there is a lot of cow boys out there think they know what there doing and they don't have a clue really. I got to ring paul up from the last bodyshop on tuesday as he said he might see if he can do anything about the price he did say that i could pay him monthly payments of my choice what i would be happy paying and i will get my car back once the last payment has been made i think that was very fair that way everyone is happy.
