Most likely a cam or crankshaft sensor, I think the cam one is known for giving a weak signal and causing this kind of thing. Your Mitsubishi garage can stick the MUTII/III on it and let you know exactly, it's all logged.
My engine misses a beat on idle
My engine misses a beat on idle now and then, performance is ok, does any one else get this, car is EVO VIII FQ300.
