ye alot nicer on the motorway to be honest and the odd dual carriageway...

ye its carbon fibre....thought it would go alot better with the bike that the clit like stainless steel and Ti cans you see.

the carbon apparently doesnt last too well with the V twin engine so will see how it gets on i suppose but just get another if it goes

nice Chris

How do you find the new screen affects noise?
I had a couple of bikes that were really noisy (wind noise around the helmet generated by wind off the screen)
I fitted a flip screen, but all it did was move the wind hitting the helmet, from the bottom of the helmet, to inline with my ears making it even noisier...

Now admittedly its probably cos I'm a midget!! and just at the wrong height for it all.
You're a big chap, so I reakon it must have been getting you in the chest/shoulder area. Hows it now?

bang on mate shoulders and chest to neck area was where i was getting it, you can see on the first pic with the previous screen it was very jet fighter streamline, no real bump to just deflect it and i was getting battered.

The powerbronze however just has the bit more of a raise i found and deflects in just nicely to the top of my helmet so with a bit of ducking and i can easily get away from that :smthumbup

this screen would probably be ideal for you mate :smthumbup

a worthwhile investment then... you'll notice in your wrists now though, withought the force of the wind supporting you!

Biggest factors on wind noise is the kind of helmet you wear, generally the more vents the noisier (Arai Astro R and RX7 are bad for this) and always wear ear plugs as the db levels from wind noise are very high at speed. As Chris says if you want to improve wrist comfort set your levers up properly, most are set too high as std, turn them down around the bars until comfortable you'll find this makes a big difference :smthumbup
