My car has a MOTEC M48 pro installed. The original ECU is connected in parallel to the MOTEC one. The system and loom where bought from MOTEC UK. One major problem that I have with the car is cold start. It seems that the idle motor is not working, and I have been told that is should be working, operated by the original ECU. Can anybody advise on this? Is it a problem of the loom?

Apart from your cold start problem, on the whole how do you find the Motec M-48 working on your car. Any good and what sort of hp is it giving out now?

The Motec M48 pro is great, what I really like about it is the flexibility to change the maps when ever you feel like (if you know what you are doing), the great anti lag system and the ability to download engine data for analysis.
Power for my car: about 360 hp and 450 nm, tested by a pro group A tuner.

Try speaking with Power Station in Cheltenham these boys appear to be the kiddies when it comes to Motec ECUs.

I drove their demo Impreza STi and the proof was in the pudding!
