·MLR NATIONAL MEET
DATE: 27th - 28th of April
LOCATION: Silverstone and Northampton
Now everyone has settled down after Christmas its time to plan a BIG meet for everyone in the UK and a night on the town for those who are up for it!
This meet will replace all regional meets for April, here's the plan,
A national meet at Silverstone on the 27th of April, plenty of parking, a chance to chat, catch up and meet people you've only talked to on the forum. There will be a historic car race at Silverstone so plenty of nice cars to drool over.

We will also have a "lets look at your mods" hour where Volunteers (please put your name down for this!) will show people popular mods that are in the limelight at the moment.
After a light lunch at Silverstone those who want to drive to Northampton where we check into a hotel for the night (plenty of off road parking!)

I've talked to the hotel and they can do double/twin rooms with breakfast for around £80, I'm sure there will be singles as well (expect that to come down when I have an idea of numbers that I can negotiate with).
We have a little walk into town from the hotel where we have a curry and then sink as many beers as we can before the nights over.
A quick stagger back to the hotel, pass out and wake up in time for breakfast.
Those that survive all this gather together and attempt a drive out in the country to a nice pub where we have a kick ass Sunday lunch, we then say our goodbyes and tell everyone how much fun we have had and that we should do it again soon.
What to do next
Respond to this post and let me know
1. If you are coming to Silverstone
2. If you can volunteer for "show me your mods", if you can then please let me know what mods you have.
3. If you need a hotel room, how many people and who (if anyone) you are sharing with
4. If you require a Vegetarian meal at Silverstone, in Northampton or for Sunday lunch.
Each of the regional organisers will be arranging the drive down from your region to Silverstone so watch the Regional Meets section for details.
The midlands meet regularly turns out 10-20 cars (think your region can beat this?).
Hope to see you there
