Hello to everyone in the Mitsubishi Lancer Register,

My name is Richard Jenkins and I have been running the 4G92 MIVEC Register for a year or so now. This register has been trying to bring together the Mirage Cyborg R and Lancer MR owners in the UK. As you may or may not know these little 1.6 175PS critters are as rare as rolling horse poo in the UK and setting up meets has been difficult to set up as there are only 2 of us on the register in the UK (I know of three others that have been sold in the UK but can't get hold of them via e-mail) 4 in Dublin and the majority in New Zealand and Malaysia!!! Anyway as the LTR has been opened up to non-Turbo cars I was wondering if we could join up with you lot (My '94 Cyborg R 4 door is actually a re-badged Lancer and Bret's Cyborg R is a 3 door (Colt)).

Didn't Ralliart UK have a couple for sale recently?
1 was a rally prepared car and the other a race/track prepared car?

Hey !!!!!

I used to own the Lancer MR which I sold to Jeff....... Looks like a cross between an E4 (same shape) and an E3 (spoilers and grill) He's a good mate of mine.

It was a FANTASTIC car..... Great performance and 34MPG !!....It revs to 8250 rpm and loves it !

Anyone wants to see this car then goto:

Jonathan,
Thought you might be hanging around here http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > How's the EVO.
I sold the FTO and now have a MkIV Supra (as you can see in my sig [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >), but Teresa still has the Cyborg R (obviously) [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/tongue1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

chunky,
I told you they were like rocking horse sh!t [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

In fact all the ones I have seen for sail lately are being advertised at about 1K more than we bought ours for nearly 2 years ago and they were older!! [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

There are about 70 people on the egroups I run but the majority are in NZ/Singapore/Malaysia the others in Dublin and most in the UK are still looking for one.

Anyway I have got in touch with the other guy who has a Cyborg R and we are meeting up with the FTO/GTO crowd at Santa Pod on the 8th April

Hi Rich,

You don't need to ask - of course all Cyborg owners are welcome in the MLR, whether they're based in the UK or overseas! There's a pic of the two cars Ralliart had at their opening on this site (Events / Previous / New Ralliart Facility..) and Mark Jankiewicz had the use of one of them for TRAX 2000 whilst his car was being 'breathed on'. If you'd like to chase up their new owners, Malcolm Ingemells at Ralliart UK may be able to help, although I expect he'd prefer to pass something on from you rather than divulge their personal details.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Rich !

All is well with the EVO........ Its looking better than ever and I am in the process of building a web page to pay homage to my beast.

I thought you were selling up and moving away ?

I'm sure we will meet if you come along to a Lancer day...... I would like to check out your Cyborg and see what difference there is between my MIVEC (ex) and yours

I'll pass that along, can't see many members bringing their Cyborgs over from NZ though http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Not me, must have been someone else.

Will do, although it's hard to get me out of the Supra these days, much more of a chalange to drive than the Cyborg or the FTO. [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >
