There appears to be a lack of people round the Midlands area. Meets going on north and south, but nothing in the middle. Anyone up for a meeting say within a 50 mile radius of the Birmingham area?

Yeh me !
A midlands meet has been suggested a number of times , but no result yet.
Where are u located , I'm up for organising this.
The location needs research , but there must be a huge potential as I see loads of Evo's around the Brum , Worcester , Bromsgrove tec area's.

Oh, good. I'm not the only one then!! Righto, thats 2 then. Any more?

I'm in Brum but don't mind a trip out somewhere decent. Like you, I've seen other EVO's around the area so surely we can muster something together. Come on you lot...

Course, we could organise our own EVO Gumball Rally. Now there's a thought !

And then there were three.

But please give me a couple of weeks to get the Evo back on the road, I'm having Gearbox/preload problems.

How about Warwick, loads of Pubs with large car parks around here, and very few speed traps, may be worth a look.

Less in the wet then http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Come on , lets have some more midlands people showing an interest.

Ian , maybe we just need to arrange a meeting and announce it to attract people ?

Evoboy: Sounds like the right idea. Hows about thinking of a suitable venue first, then we can sort out a date. Have to say, a Sunday afternoon would be preferable but obviously depends on all who might attend. What sort of venue, country pub somewhere ? Also, I suppose it also depends where the majority are coming from, but I would have thought somewhere south of Brum would have better choices.

Great, well that's a reasonable start. Notts, Brum, Worcester and Swindon! On that basis, somewhere close to Brum, maybe off the M42, wouldn't be a bad idea. Any suggestions anyone? Evoboy - since you were up for organising it, what do you reckon?

Hey dude yr welcome , even with a F..d !

Thinking aloud , how about an inaugral meeting at an easy location , like a motorway services (don't laugh , easy to find with good facilities) or the National Motorcycle Museum (A45/M42 junction) then all discuss our preffered locations for future meetings and take it from there ?

ChrisBT I work in Daventry and sometimes drive the Evo in, when I'm running late.

It's a White VI rs sprint, when it's back on the road (having gearbox problems at the moment) drop us a line at [email protected] and I'll take you for a blast, if you want.

As goes the meet, service station, pub or whatever, I'm up for it.

The Motorcycle Museum might be a good choice as there's plenty of parking space and some catering facilities as well from what I remember. Its easy to find and would certainly make for a good starting point to ponder over future meeting venues. When the weathers better, Drayton Manor Park near Tamworth could be a good place for a future meet.

Anyway, for a date, what about 1st April or is this too soon for all?

Seems like we have our first Midlands meet then , I'm ok for April one , but probably not in my Evo unless it's dry and saltless.

So I will be in my winter hack , which is a turbo but I won't say any more !

Let's make it massive everyone
