For sale is my Evo 5 RS

Imported by Ross Sport in April 2015 as a standard 50k 5 RS with exception of Ohlins Coilovers and SSR wheels

I purchased the car from MLR member Stoddie in June 2015 with the idea of building a fantastic spec car using only high spec parts capable of been great fun on a Sunday drive or capable of fantastic performance on track.

The car now has 56,000 miles on the shell and has been a privilege to own and use.

After collecting the car I spoke to a few MLR traders about taking up the car for my project. After much consideration I decided to use MG Autos in Ripley. Without exception In the last 18 months they have got to know the car in great detail and im sure Mat the owner would be happy to talk through the level of detail that has gone in to the car.

In August 2015 with 52,000 mile the car was dropped to MG autos for work to begin on what would be a full comprehensive upgrade.

A couple of months later the car came back to me a few months later with 520hp and 450ft lb mapped my Lee 5 on a s205b but an engine spec'd to a much higher standard and capable of much more. The car performed fantastically for the next 2,000 miles without fault.

In late February 2016 with 54,000 miles the car returned for its next stage and most significant upgrades which are detailed below. I asked Mat and the team at MG Autos to take the car to a level which would be regarded as one of the best spec'd 5 RS' in the country.

In late 2016 the car returned to me making 660hp and 580 ftlb at its highest power setting. The car is now fantastically quick and with a change of exhaust housing to the larger .82 housing would see even more power.

Since that time the car has been sensibly used on the road before a recent trip to the Nürburgring / Spa where it performed amazing doing some great times at a low boost setting

The car has had its oil changed 5 times in my 6,000 miles ownership using 10w60 and will have all new fluids in it for its new owner and ready to go and can be used in which ever way the new owners wants. At its current spec it could enter a race series or like I intended a great 3rd car / track day toy.

During my ownership i've done a build thread on the MLR to share the cars progress which can be found here

Im happy to arrange viewing of the car at my home in Worcestershire or can arrange for the car to be at MG autos with use of ramps etc and for any perspective buyer to talk to the guys who built it for me.

Genuine reason for sale due to some stupid 911 GT3 urge I want to scratch

Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire

Can't believe your selling mate after all you've had done to it. I honestly think you will want it back once you've sold it.
