A couple of questions -

Does the Evo IV have a revcounter, and if yes, what does it cut in at?

What would be a safey rpm figure not to go above??

Thanks

Think you meant rev limiter. If it is like the six, it is around 7700rpm. With forged internals, you can go higher - but don't take the crank beyond, say 8500rpm. An 8500rpm redline is pretty safe. I redline at 8100rpm, no probs.

OOOOOOps, posting too many messages, cant get my words out.

So, If I said 7000rpm was too low, I would be wrong?

What about having standard con rods?

We have the uprated RAlliart con rod bolts, but not the con rods?????

Red line on the Evo 1 to 5 is 7,000 rpm
Rev cut on the Evo 1 to 5 is 7,500 rpm
From the Evo 6 onwards Rev cut is increased to 7,600 rpm, Red line remains the same.

Obviously you can set the rev limiter to whatever you wish with
a remapped ECU....or mappable ECU.

Changing the topic slightly as you are speaking of remappable ECU's what is the remappable ECU you are offering on your site Justin?
Is it the PE item with preset programs loaded (sounds like it)?
