Is this Disc or pads???? been quoted £1100 for the lot so only wana replace what i need!!!

If it all needs replacing I would get std discs, some goodridge braided hoses and some Ferrodo DS2500 pads.

when you say squeeky noise from caliper is it more of a creak???

i ask cos mine did this recently........and it turned out the pistons were beginning to seize up

i pulled the rubbers back and sprayed in some grease and worked them in and out and the noise went away.....

You can pick up a pair of OE discs for around £100 and the pads are no more than £150.

Then you just need a mechanic to fit them - or check the guide in the Articles section. I had never done anything on brakes before and I managed to do them no problem.

The caliper piston problem is again easy to fix, as you'll be taking the caliper off when fitting the discs anyway.

I've had exactly the same problem with my 5. I changed discs and pads and the problem has gone. The creak on the caliper also went away.

Mine are now squealling really bad and it's driving me mad!

They are the original parts, but just not sold through Mitsubishi. As for the pads, they are better than the originals. Try Ferodo DS2500's or EBC Red Stuff Ceramic.

Contact "stockcar" on this forum. He sold me my discs and they're great.
