Another great result Donald, well done :smthumbup it's really starting to come together.;)
Yea now that the boost issue is fixed she's back on song again. It was one of the wastegate diaphragms leaking.

Better late than never, here's Sunday's run 28.38 in-car video. A few spots of rain on the start line but it never came to anything:

Just a wee update on progress.

The new Samsonas sequential gearbox has arrived back and is now 'mostly' installed. The linkage fouled the supercharger so some major surgery was needed to allow it to clear the manifolds. That's all done and we're working on wiring up the strain gauge over the next couple of days. Hoping all is good as we're cutting it fine for Doune this weekend, the last event of the year on our calender.

I'll update once i've had her out for a test drive :)

Have you gone for the same very short ratios ? or longer ?
Just the same ratios with a 4.3 final. The wide torque/power band of the Twincharger system makes ratios less critical. Happy with the ratios I had

So far so good :)

I haven't had her out yet but 'driven' her on the ramp to check selection and gear cut operation. All seems okay.

I hope to get out driving tonight and check the box under load. It seems due to time constraints i'll be going to Doune with a largely untested system though. There will be some messing about with the gearchange setup no doubt.

Back from Doune with a complete car :D

Sat & Sun both dry so that's 3 dry Dounes this year. The new Samsonas sequential box is in and flatshift working well. I hadn't tested it at all so it was a leap of faith launching off the line on Saturday morning! Started out on a 48s opener getting down into the low 46's by the end of Sat practice.

Sunday started on a 48s damp/cold track then T1 i got within 0.01s of the record 45.14s! T2 secured a new class record with a 44.93s fairly committed run :D

I only seem to have Timed competition run 1 - 45.14s run on video unfortunately :wallbang:

The gearbox is working great, nice and smooth, absolutely no problems at all. I managed to get the changes down to 0.060s reliably. I spoke to a gent over the weekend who is working on a new affordable paddle shift system for sequential boxes so Tiddles may be become the guinea pig test and development tool over the winter and next year :D

No other issues at all, again another reliable event and Tiddles came home in one piece

I'll post up the video in an hour or so

That could be all for this year. I'm going to try to get an entry for Loton Park Hillclimb next weekend but I suspect there's little chance of that as it's usually over subscribed. I may take her up to Boyndie Sprint instead and get rid of the remains of the Avons and have a no-pressure weekend of fun if I'm not going to Loton Park ;)

Here's the vid of T1. No idea why T2 isn't recorded, shame as i'd have liked to re-live it again

That throttle response is amazing. It's just there. :smthumbup
It sure is, just incredible how quick the power is there on throttle. We reckon we can go bigger on the tubby and keep it spinning using the supercharger so that's the next development phase. It's the direction tiddles has gone for years, a focused purpose-built hill climb weapon developed for getting from one point to another in the shortest time possible. This means thinking outside the box and trying things, however barmy or seemingly worthless those ideas might be ;)
