Hope to go to Harewood at some point this year but as yet not 100% sure. With such a poor budget I never know if I'll be able to afford these extra jaunts down south. I intend to do the final Loton Park BHC event this year so I can't go spending lots on too many other events.

Have just had some additional expense on Tiddles & getting her MOT'd and ready for Kames next weekend
ah kames, shame there's no fast class d cars going :blah:

The weather held out for most of the day at Alford today so a decent amount of seat time for us.

Started the day on a damp track with a low 52s, below last years class record ;)

Next practice was a similar time (can't remember exactly ). Competition run 1 was a drying track although for all purposes it felt pretty dry to me. Lowered the class record to 51.76s then on T2 lowered it again to 51.64s :D

I'd had the supercharger and turbo off to do some maintenance through the week and all day today we only had 1.8bar boost. There's nothing obviously wrong so it could be a pita to find the issue before Kames on Saturday.

Overall a good day. Despite the low boost she ran well and the launches were improving.

Here's the trackside run:

Well done Donald!! :smthumbup

More to come too.
Yeah for sure. Just wish she would stay consistent between events! This latest boost issue is probably my own fault :wallbang:

As suspected the boost issue was my fault and turned out to be a simple fix. Nothing mechanical was wrong and the Twincharger system is all good. She was running with the system minimum 1.8 bar at Alford and still went well

I'm going to change the clutch plates this weekend as they are looking quite worn now. I usually replace these every winter but didn't have the spare zoids this year to do them so with the next event in a couple of weeks it makes sense to pre-empt any clutch issues. The gearbox will be coming out as my new Samsonas box will be here soon(ish) but I can't rely on the clutch lasting until the box is swapped over. Luckily the box only takes an hour to remove ;)

I'll update nearer the next event and after a proper road test

Am at harewood hillclimb this weekend. Was wet but dried up for one run this morning so a 59.88s run now in the bag. Heavens just opened again so looks like the record isn't achievable today :wallbang:

am here for tomorrow too. Forecast is supposed to be better but not seen any recent updates.

Well it dried out for the last run of the day so ended with a 59.44s run and a class win. Getting good seat time although the changing conditions are making it difficult to get up to speed. Not been here since last year so I need to get used to the track again.

Tomorrow's another day so we'll see what it brings :)
