I know some of you have used the performance calculator and checked the theory stats out on my site before, but its now changed as of THIS WEEKEND GONE (just the forum links that need sorting).......there also an EVO MR340 Article looking at its THEORY figures.

Please check out our new and now updated site about THEORY PERFORMANCE AND STATISTICS.

After the previous development site, we have now updated to a more professional look with many new features:
- new enhanced performance calculator with improved formulas for 0-60, 0-100 and 1/4mile etc
- updated theory stats for 1000's of cars, now with sort options (click on the headings), INCLUDING MOST EVOS.
- articles on the Evo MR340, and Bugatti Veyron theory figures
- detailed 2005 event calendar (UK)
- many recommended links including UK club forums, other stat sites, circuit/track day sites, and other useful links

If you are interested then add it to your favourites and check for regular future updates, we have loads more planned, site address is...

I have tested it on my current car and my previous car (ST24) and it seemed very accurate.
Would be interesting to see if anyone on here that has done a quarter mile run with their car to see how close it compares to the calculator.

Paul.

cheers, its should be pointed out it predicts the best achievable figures. With a 4wd that means a serious diff braking launch, snapping gearchanges and full abuse, most owners have some TLC so they could well be about half a second off.

doh! see the explained section, notes 1 and 2 on www.letstorquebhp.com/explained.asp

Bascially we decided to quote two figures, one for comprision with road test results in magazines thats on tarmac/road surface, the other for drag strips like Santapod where you get far better traction off the line due to the surface and "glue" they put down that can be a few tenths quicker, then everyone's happy.

Yeah Steve, I agree. It would be great if we could put the Evo 9 on the site.

I would imagine it would be 1400 KG for the GSR spec, about 1260 KG for the RS and somewhere in between for the GT spec , and although it'll have an official 276 BHP, I'm sure it would be more like 290 BHP, maybe more with it's MIVEC engine and new larger turbo.
