Hi there

I just found out that the area just in front of the front right wheel is leaking some liquid, what seems like oil. I have an Evo6 TME.

Does anyone know what that might possibly be ?

Thank you

Ditto.

The Oil Cooler sits in front of the right wheel. In fact you can see the vents in the front of the outer right arch for the air exiting though it.
Check your oil level and around the oil cooler for leakage.

It could also possibly be brake fluid from the caliper although this would be more in line with the wheel.

Another possibility is Power Steering fluid as the resevoir sits on the right wheel arch. Mine was leaking fluid simply because it was overfilled. Draining some out to the right level cured it.

I would think the oil cooler is your number 1 culprit though.

Have the same prolem with my Evo 4, I think it might be the oil drain plug though I haven't checked yet. Might be the same as yours. I think if you expose the car to a lot of high boost pressure, the oil pressure can loosen the oil drain plug. Best tighten it to make sure.
