What exactly are they, and if they're tickey is it a problem??
If so, what will happen, and how much to get sorted?

Hi mate, basically they are the tappets in the top of your engine. Evo"s are known to have noisy lash's. I just changed mine as the knock sensor was hearing the noise which caused it to retard the timing, (wasn't good). I paid £99 from www.camskill.co.uk for the adjusters, then two hours work at my local tuner (£100). If they are really noisy, its probably best to change them.
