I am pretty sure it has the same 4wd system as the current Evo 9 but the same engine and gearbox as the X FQ300 SST just de-tuned to 237bhp.

According to Autocar expect it to cost approx £21,500

No, EVO X 237. I am seriously thinking of switching my order for one of these, if the prices suggested are real its a fair wedge cheaper and it won't be that much slower than the 300. You never know it may even creep into the cheaper car tax band too same as the Focus ST.
