See you guys up there :)
Thinking of going but I only want to go if my missus can get on track in her FTO.

How strict are they on the 10K value of the car, I've noticed in the past on Hot Marques days, Evo 1 to 3's running which aren't 10K.
If the car looks tidy, and you drive it courteously - giving people space, allowing them to ovetrake etc, they shouldn't have a problem m8 :D

The weather forecasters have a sun and a huge thunder cloud over KH...

Cheers :)

Should be interesting on your slicks
Well I've just been hit by a monsoon - so the sun should be right behind it...

We've got some brand new T1-Rs for the S13 if it's wet and some nearly slick T1-Ss if it's dry - Sorted :coolsm:

Looks like being an interesting night
Won't be able to get up tonight. Need to fix wheel wobble & vaccumm pipe issue

catch you next time
Very good night all round. Some nice 'fast cars' on track. Dry conditions and cool air.

Got some confidence backs after last months washout and really enjoyed 'throwing' the car about.

Good to see the usual auld faces and meet Phil. Must admit the auld girl was a wee tad impressive :D Done a good job there mate. Just need some serious rubber and top brakes and your sorted.

Got a wee bit of an eye opener. Following a CTR round track, catching him on the twisties, infact holding me up, but on the straights an impressive car...funny how nitrous does that

On issue I had was with my ACD (posted query in technical).

Roll on Croft!!!
Yeah good to see quite a few Evo's at KH tonight, the 3 on track went well. John, thought you had your handbrake on going up the straight behind the CTR, but nitrous explains :)
Good to meet you Phil, very nice car you have, your lap times were coming down even with Rog as your instructor  Only joking Rog. :D
Hope to have mine on at next track night if i can get my efing brakes sorted out.
Yeah, I had a Great time :D Our S13 ran perfectly - including Dave overtaking the blue Ferarri 360 in it and me overtaking the Noble lol!!

BIG thanks to Phil for letting me have a drive of his Motor - Best I managed was 62s - I blame the Nankangs myself

Hope all the evenings troubles get sorted out Phil - here's a vid of me scaring your wife to cheer you up :D

Phil - that's annoying  How about offering a local breakdown firm £50 if they'd take you by truck? At least it wouldn't matter if you broke down

Cheers :)
Managed to Jack-knife my trailer on way home     and had to get breakdown truck to recover everything  , no real damage to evo just to my pride. Cheers Rog for lift home ect :coolsm: :coolsm:

Apart from that excellent day out good to meet everyone and a few new faces, john robbie ect :coolsm: Car was running not bad! I tried to borrow rog's slicks but the wheel were hitting the brake calipers so i had to run with my £50 a c corner Nanking tyres(made in china) so the grip was **** brakes failed after a few laps hard driving so will need to upgrade them soon aswell. Cheers Rog for lessons aswell and scaring my wife

Phil
you need to ditch the nankans phil.i've got federals  they are utter s#it to.i some 17" slicks at £50 a set if you want?all good fun then?croft next

cheers

Hi
what a superb night
the race with evojkp was superb even with the 50bhp of nos on the car is only running 220 horse only used it going up straight turned it off on twistys went down to about 170 bhp but dont remember you trying to pass me think i moved over after chicane but you never managed to pass ,my nos only lasted 3 mins only running small 2kg bottle
must have raced you for over 15 mins
anyway lets not bitch about who beat who
but think you certainly had edge in and out of corners 4 wheel drive helps mine just spins front wheel comeing out corners
it was a superb close race and great fun
hope to meet you lot again and maybe get time to chat
the 2 hours go to quick
did you get chance to go against duncans red super charged ctr

Shocker, it was good fun. I'm running std and 230'ish atw and was not really ever going to compete with lighter cars last night. Must admit first time up the straight I thought WTF  The back section is my favourite and pose time sliding the car through MacIntyres and Clarke.....all about the grin factor :D :D

Elises were too quick as well, especially the mod'd ones. I did sit behind the red CTR and could not get past. :(

BUT....I really enjoyed it and I'll need to blag a passenger lap from yourself next time.
Was an enjoyable night, some fast cars on track :)

The two civics were pretty impressive as was the Skyline up the straight :coolsm:
Had a great time at knockhill, its the first time i've really given the car a hammering. I started off with some blistering laps and the suffered severe brake fade. When I returned to pit lane, one of the marshallers came over as he though my car was on fire, fortunately it was just the brakes smoking. I found the handling to be superb, can't wait to see what its like with the AYC working.
It looked like the black Civic I came up behind in the video was in reverse compared to Phil's EVO - much as I like the Type Rs, they are a full performance category behind the EVO as standard... More of a match for our S13, I think ;) :p

Like John says, it all about FUN :D Although Phil's EVO is Awesome, it wasn't any more FUN than my 212ATW EVO (i.e. LESS than both modded Civics at AVA  ) - and with more power, the brakes take more of a hammering - Phil vaporised his DS2500s in about 5 laps

Power is weird too - I totally Love the push in the back as 430bhp fire you out of the hairpin in 2nd with full 4wd traction, but a "feather" of the throttle through Duffus lead to about 200bhp more than I wanted being released  If you listen carefully enough to the vid, you'll hear me peep the horn by mistake, it gave me such a fright

Hope to have a few minor bits & bobs fixed on my EVO, and then boost controller fitted, engine mapped etc prior to the next outing :D :coolsm:

Cheers :)
See less See more
Was good to see you guys on the track, No confidence to take mine on afraid so just watched you lot.

Never got to meet any of you but im sure i will at some point.

Lisa
