Purple Gate Hanger Pass arrived today (y) All the map and instructions should be in the envelope. Stand B1 - B3a so that's a nice spot with the bushes behind us near the noise testing area by the entrance exit.
Where the Honda Type R's were last year for anyone who went/remembers.

I see its a nice early arrival time Ian!!
it does say they like you all set up by 0830 but still let you in after 0900 because they realise it's the real world and there is traffic, etc. Last year the damned M4 was closed between the A34 and the next junction it was madness! So we know roughly how many cars we have and the space we have so just park up accordingly and get there when you can m8 (y)

Sadly, my Evo is not going to be ready for Saturday so, once again, I'll be bringing the Impreza RA.

Evo should be ready next couple of weeks so will get the summer to potter around with it and bring them both to Silverstone in September.

Sorry Ian won't make it today
I had the reason relayed to me by Chris. shame. Maybe ask Combe for a refund given the circumstances matey? I was a bit disappointed with the amount of space allocated to us to be honest. We only just managed to squeezw 18/19 cars on there and there should have been 23! The Hondas next to us could have shoved up if needed I think though. It was a good spot though overall for access etc. And shaded by trees/bushes in the PM which was handy.

Apologies for bringing the opposition, again :) was nice to park up in the shade though. Thank you for organising.

We had our first track session in the car and was surprised to cook the brakes after a few laps. Don't know the course and too heavy on the brakes didn't help.

Will have both cars for Rally Day but it's also my GF's sons birthday. Have a couple of months to convince him that car shows have Star Wars and dinosaurs. :D

Hey that hawkeye didn't look out of place to be honest. They are good cars. TaniR who used to organise a few years back had a X and her mum had a blue RA hawkeye too.

not like the old days when mlr had pride of place in the very best spot.
You also have to remember sometimes we had 30/40+ cars to show. AND Darin was one of the founder organisers of Jap shows and Rallyday at Combe too!

Also note we were the ONLY Evo club there at JDM. You used to get Evolution Facebook etc. Plus others. We had 18 on the stand and I walked the entire circuit and only spotted about another dozen single cars on the site as a whole. There was a nice black IV that I spotted though. These are rare cars now.

I did head over to your stand, some quality looking Evo's there. My boy loved the TME and the X! Had a quick session on track but the brakes started going after about 7 laps which turned out to be one of the bleed nipples leaking so have to source one of them today.
