Well that's it, it's goodbye to my Evo V, and not hello to a new Evo VII, I'm off to join the mid engined rear wheel drive fraternity. I'll still look back in fondness at my Evo membership and no doubt wave at Evos on the road. By the way does anyone on here own a black Evo V (just like my old one) who sometimes is in and around Virginia Water in Surrey?

Tim

My second car is an Italian, mid engine, rear drive affair http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Answers on the back of a post card as to what it is [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

I was going to say Fiat 500, but they were rear-engined.

Lancia Monte Carlo? Mmmmmmm, nice

The Lancia Monte Carlo is an X1/20 (honest). It was Bertones bigger brother to the X1/9. Unfortunatley, Lancia could make cars rust even quicked than the FIAT back then so they're a rare sight now days.

Well it isn't a Clio V6, wouldn't want to go for anything slower! It's not a Ferrari although I do have two Ferrari dealers in my town, not a Porsche (although I did have a look at a GT3, but 80k is a little steep for what it is). I'll give you a clue it's made in England and is quicker than either an Evo or a GT3.

If it's an Ultima, I'll poke you in the eye http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

When my Exige grows up, it wants to be an Ultima! Drooled over a GTR last night in fact, at a local car meet. Along with another Exige,a Caterham 7, and amp; the GTR, I'm convoying to Le Mans in June [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > Perhaps you'll be there too?

Mmm, lucky I didn't buy an Ultima then or I'd be eyeless by now! I would love an Ultima, but it would have to be a 3rd car as it's so inpractical for road use. You are on the right track though as the guy who designed the Ultima also designed my new car.

It's a Lee Noble special then http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >) That still deserves a poke in the eye! Simon Taylor from Warrenders was diving Autocars Noble last week, whilst they were testing the EVO VII. He was very, very, impressed with the Noble and amp; in fact suggested I get one for my next car [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >)

But are you going to Le Mans?

Correct it is a Noble M12. It's an amzing car, and the one I tried wasn't even the final production vehicle either, it made my 330BHP Evo (dyno verified!) feel slow, and wow the noise it makes when moving on! Can't wait to see the Autocar reveiw of it with some decent performance figures. Don't think I'd want to go to Le Mans this year, after all it's difficult to drive with a stick or a poke in the eye! lol!

Well the delivery wont be until Sept/ Oct time, so now I need to look for a runaround for now. So Iceman do you have an Evo V or V1, do you know anyone else with an Evo in and around Bracknell, Ascot or Virgina Water?
