Guys,

I have noticed that on my EVO VI RSX there are 2 nozzles directed at my intercooler from the top as I expect BUT there are an additional 2 nozzles up inside the front bar poiting at the radiator. Is this the standard set up or have these extra nozzles been added? I see absolutely no need for these 2 nozzles to be directed at the top of the radiator and am thinking of re-routing them onto the intercooler, maybe spraying from underneath. Any opinions on this?

The 2 extra ones are std. At least on my 6 RS-2. Redirecting them onto the ic is a good idea!

It was standard arrangement on the E5 onwards. I have heard of a few people blocking them off so the front IC jets get more benefit. You would be better off redirecting them so they spray on to the front of the intercooler rather than the back. Personally I think the jets are absolutely rubbish and the best thing to do is fit upgraded items (industrial sprayer type) to cover a larger area rather than the dribble in 2 spots you normally get.
