As you'll know from my other thread i'm tuning my car.

I'm with Direct Line at the moment... anybody had any experience as to how they react to upgrades?

What companies take a hard line and which ones aren't that fussed...?

I know age/record/location all have an impact but lets start by talking just in general terms.

Privelege cover mods but the premium goes up....obviosly.

L & V don't cover mods which i found out on renewal this year.

Pace Ward cover mods and i found them to be the most flexable with adding to the list of mods as and when u ad them. Can't recommend them more really nd have both my cars covered by them.

Only 3 companies i have had recent communication with, sure others can add to the list to save u spending hours on the fone.

Second this, PW are really well priced when it comes to mods.

Direct Line hate mods, they will cover them but at a price.

I just got quotes for a Evo6 with 360bhp

Norwich Union £2700
A-Plan £1150

When it comes to mods, I think you need to look at specialist insurers to get a decent price.
