Which is the best way to go?

I have read that the apexi power intake is the best for filteration, but I am also aware of the hot air problems associated with induction kits.

So which is best, and before anyone complains, searching didn't find any comparisons between the two. Opinions please.

I Just removed an Apexi kit because it looked like it was sucking itself inwards.

wasnt dirty, just wasnt big enough.

Apexi does have a fantastic P/mill air filration record but they are a little small.

You could build a custom made cooler box around whatever filtration system you employ to lower heat soak. Carbon fibre appears to be the flavour of the month these days - bear in mind that you need to design it so the air intake feed is compatible with it.

Or just get yourself a Blitz Sonic with the metal shroud (used to reduce heat soak).

I think the way to go is a panel filter and then think about it then.
