Hey footsie do you ever see IT jobs advertised in the paper over there? Just wondering what the salaries are like compared to here. Lived in cyprus for a couple of years and found it hard to get a job as I didn't speak greek and when i did they paid per month what i earn in two days over here! Still makes me cringe thinking about it!!

Salaries also very low here.And if you cannot speak the lingo!.very hard to find work.I would say average unskilled labour is around 6 euros per hour.But cost of living alot cheaper.I pay only 400.00 euros a year council tax.water around 28 euros a quarter electric about the same.Most people i have met over here came for the quality of life.not to earn money Oh1 and heating bill,s very low.my little gas fire comes out for 2 months of the year

my mums out there for 6 weeks for £800 half board, she says she can't live in this country for that and has done it past 10 years to europe.....


this country is [email protected] we parked on a retail park before loaded a tumble dryer and got a parkin fine of £50 theres a cabin in centre of car park obviously wanting to make money can they do that 1/4 was only full and at least 20 disabled spaces next to us free and its hard parking a 3.5 ton van in a single slot

oh and it says after 14 days 80 pound due then the bailiffs come in

Been having a very warm winter this year.would say average in the 20s this week.Dry and sunny.But does get chilly at night.thing is you become a bit soft living here.don,t think i would survive uk weather now.

Well you just said it all really!.was Pi..ed off with Uk.The weather more than anything as i,m out door person.were i lived in Cornwall was nothing to do.(well apart from stay dry!) :crackup: Been here two years now.not easy but would never go back to uk.As for evo.I have given it to my son,s.as on Borrowed time legally.To reregister cost,s a fortune.(as did my plate)cannot get proper service here.ie,AYC.so sooner than give it away to some tyre kicker.who better than my sons
