can anyone give me a rough estimate on how long front |PLS| rear brake pads last in miles. my car has 6.5k and the rears have gone is this about right?

It is impossible to give a rough estimate mate.

It all depends on whether you drive like Tommi or Doris

My front pads lasted 22,000 miles and the rears 28,000 but then again, I do drive like a pansy

My fronts 11k miles , rears , 13k miles. Mixture of hooligan driving and 4 track days

Front 18k, Rears about 20k, no track days and driving 30 mph everywhere (honest officer!)
(mind you my garage did say the fronts were low at 13,500 mile service but I never believe them anyway!)
