I have a handycam that records onto little 8cm dvd's............ That great, but I dont know how to get the film onto my hard drive so that I can use the little disk again.
Can anyone help? :confused:

Pop the DVD into your computer, and use something like DVD Shrink (which is, if I recall freeware) and it'll rip the DVD onto your HD into a folder of your choice.

Very handy.

i dont think the dvd he has are standard he said 8cm dvds and normal dvds are a little bigger, whats the model of the camera etc????

Even so, most desktop DVD drives will accept 8cm (or CD-Single) sized disks.

If it's a laptop, with the press on spindle - even easier.

just stick it in your dvd drive and make an image with any copy program dvd decryptor as bazza mentioned,or alcohol,nero,discjuggler or any other you can get hold of.
