Decided to do a last minute lads holiday early April, but where the hell can you go this time of year that;

a) Is hot (Cyprus etc is only around 12deg C atm )

b) Has decent nightlife and bars

c) Is not too far away (I hate flying)

Looking at Cancun ala Mehico - is this suitable? Bloody long flight I notice tho...

Suggestions welcome - Apart from Bognor Regis or Skegness

Temp was about average of 27 degree f , went higher on some
days , but must admit it was the first week in may that we went
was one of the cheapest holidays but one of the best

Even at them modest temps chris , there was a lot of lobsters
walking around our friend came back as brown as
you could get

Mexico is looking more and more tempting...

mexico was nice chris but we came back with very bad food related problems . are group of 6 people all ended up haveing 2 weeks of work just to get over the tummy upsets . even the Queens cheif got ill there . we stayed @ playa care resort . very nice but the surround absolute poverty put me of and made me upset knowing we were sat in are very nice 5* hotels and they had nothing @ all .
try tunisia . we love it !! great for couples wanting a nice break with fab beachs . very very cheap too and loads of golf resorts to . maybe a muslin country but the are repressed people in any way .

Think Cuba is gud and hot this time of year.

Have done Cancun ages ago and i felt it woz getting tooo popular then.

Avoid like the plague round Spring break time whch i'm sure is getting close unless u like yanks by the college bus load.

Acapulco may be better if after Mexico.

Cancun is 10 hours away and is basically Bognor but full of fat and annoying 'Merkins...

Canaries is probably the only place I can think of that fills the bill unless you want to fly further. For 'lively' nightlife Playa des Ingles on Gran Canaria and Playas de las Americas in Tenerife should do it, though classy they are not. Mind you if you like cheap beer, English slappers and egg n chips, they're ideal

Mate has found a deal for 14 nights in Thailand for £630 all inclusive and he is so keen it's take it or leave it
