Perhaps someone will laugh for my inexperience, but here's the question:
today i received the GT3540R (or i hope it is...), but on the Garrett package the is a mark GT3571,( that should be a non ball bearing turbo, with 0.50AR compressor).
Opening the package, i found the turbo with marked .70 on the compressor housing, and this let me think it's really a GT3540, but i can't identify the turbine side ( how can i verify that's a 0.82AR? ). Can anybody tell me the correct part number for this turbo, so i can compare it with the mark on it? How can i verify if it's a ball bearing or not?

turbine housings will have the number cast into them look for ar's of 1.02 0.86 0.74.

I've tryed the AR, is 0.82, and it's ok, and as regards the turbo part number, it's 714568-5002, it should be the right one, someone could confirm me this? On Garrett catalogue there is a similar number, 714568-2, here in Italy a dealer told me it's the same thing.....

Finally one good new.... I was in panic, i was afraid to have received the wrong turbo...
