Hayward and Scott are custom making a replacement hi-flow manifold for an Evo VI at the moment.

They could build a jig and make this a standard part.

Could be worth dropping them an email if you are interested.

How much are they asking? Last time I asked about this (not to H and amp;S) a new manifold was the wrong side of a grand - probably due to the fact that the turbo is attached.

Who are Hayward and amp; Scott?

Have they already made the manifold? If so, is there a pic somewhere?

Hayward and Scott make exhausts for ScoobySport, which is probably the most popular aftermarket exhaust amongst Impreza owners. My brother-in-law has a full system on his Scoob and reckons it sounds great and is well made, also gave him an extra 20 BHP http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >

Some of the members here have them fitted to their Evos, so I'm sure they'll want to tell you how good they are (although the pipes are only 2.5 inches [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/wink1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >).

They have a website, but I don't think there are any pics of the manifold on it.

I do not think it helps a lot in the way of getting more power by changing the manifold.
It would help if you change to a bigger turbocharger together with a bigger manifold.
About 800 quid for the manifold is certainly on the expensive side.

DTM think I agree with you there, bigger turbo and manifold is the route I am looking at.Just a question of time and money http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle >
