Harewood Hillclimb

Well the hillclimb/sprint season is almost upon us, and I wasn't really sure if I'd even get a race this year. But thanks to the enormous generosity of a fellow EVO friend I will.

Mattty and I will dual driving his very nicely prepared EVO 6 RS2 and competing in the Harewood Hillclimb on 14th & 15th May, so please feel free to come along and watch some great cars racing and cheers us both on.

It's a brilliant venue for spectators and from one viewing point you can almost see the entire hill, something you can't do at any other hillclimb I know.

See the Harewood website for directions and details, be great to see anyone there.

Should be a busy event then Jeff, evo's entering class 3 on the may eveny so far are as follows,

Jeff & Mate, sharing the evo mentioned in the post
Chris Brown evo8 fq300
Carl Hughs evo7rs (ex jonathan mounsey car from 2004 season)
Phil Andrew (evophil) evo 6
Jonathan Mounsey (cosevo) evo 5

the class 3 (modified road over 2000cc) record stands at 64.06 seconds and the record has stood solid since 1999

Any MLR members coming to the event will see all the above seasoned MSA competitors pusing their evo's to and beyond the limit, it will be a good weekend.

OMG

Just got the regs through and what a line up, never seen so many class 3 entrants, EVOs, skylines, BMWs, going to be a fantastic weekend and great for spectating.

I'll post up the full list of entrants when I get home later.

If that wasn’t enough there is a massive turn out for the Ferrari class, going to be a busy day trying to compete and spectate at the same time :D

Wullie, Harewood is as far north as our championships go, but there are other championships north of the border if you fancied popping along and seeing what's all about :)
