Does anyone know if there is a day or half day available where I can learn handing skills?

I'm particularly interested in learing how to handle the car when the back comes using the AYC. It's probably best not to learn these things on the public road.... :)

Hi Bill,

carlimits.com/1stlotus.com (same company) do training days at North Weald Airfield just off the M11 near Harlow in Essex.
Done on a big concrete apron so not a lot to hit if it all goes Pete.
Murder on tyres though.
Andy Walsh who does the training is very highly regarded.

Cheers

4 @ £150 rather than 2 @ £270.....2 would have been better without a doubt.
How much time did you get with the instructor? I'm about to book a course and you can get a course with Caterhams for £150 sdo I'm trying to work out which course is better - with my own car or with the 7's

Ta :)

I did a four-man day with Andy and, TBH, you don't get a great deal of time behind the wheel. Depending on what you are learning you can practice on your own, but remember that what he teaches you he then needs to teach three others. For the money though it is still fantastic value and I'm really glad I did it (second fastest standard car at Haynes, only beaten by Fishy in his 8 MR RS :) )

If I was to go again I'd go on a two-person day though.

Same as the others said, Andy is split 4 ways but it worked well as it gave us a chance to practice new techniques. By the time we had it sussed he was with me again teaching us something new.....
