Gutted cat

yes I know. its a bodge job and i fully expect to be reported to the rscpa lol

but has anybody done this? a lot of ppl have done it on there mr2 turbos cus the inside of the cat was easy to knock out and left a smoth pipe.

Its on an EVO1 with a full apexi zaust but a standard cat

Hi,

It may well be that an MR2 without a cat will still pass the emissions for an MOT, but if you knock the stuffing out of yours and put it in for it's MOT and it fails (which it will) then you will have to buy a new one = wonga.

Best bet is to buy a proper decat and let the pikey MR2 owners carry on doing their thing ;)
