okay, rallytech sell these and they utilise the air intake on the front bonnet (like you didn't know that already http://www.lancerregister.com/graphics/Wilk.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| middle > ). Surely this is the best solution for induction on the evo 6 ? Anyone know what sort of filter is best to use inside one of these boxes, how good the airflow is and what the cost is ?

Prestantly run the group A ralltech airbox,need to relocate battery to boot and move fuse box over there just about enough slack on the loom to do this.
Designed around the large pipercross wrc filter (foam) which fits snug in box.Airflow fitted it myself over winter months so hard to tell but car picks up better when in traffic as filter is now sheilded from engine bay heat soak. Think in summer should come into its own,cost think there around 230 quid.

JAckal, not ideal for an airflow metered car. Have to do a fiddle with a panel filter as the piper won't fit.

Good if you a have a map sensor though.

PE got it from Rallytech for me, but you can get it straight from Rallytech.
