have decided that the evo is a tad expensive to run on a daily basis, so me and the missus are gonna go halves on a small hatchback.

any suggestions? she's 18, so it can't be silly, but its gotta have some fun/pace about it. i'm tempted by a lupo gti. what r ur thoughts on the corsas,106s,saxos, fiestas etc...... budget of about £8000.

I have a Clio that is just about to go into the autotrader. I have been using it as a commuter car between kent and Essex.

Insurance group 2 and returns 48 mpg. 62,000 Miles.

I got a 106XSi for a runabout. 0-60 in 8.5secs, handles like a kart, averages 37mpg and the parts are cheap as chips Insurance group 8 meant the premium was about £300 with no NCB. And only paid £1500 for it :smthumbup

That should leave you with £6500 change to spend on some nice Evo mods

Come on his missus is 18 she wont get insured on a 172 sport, I have a corsa for my run about and he is called my bee bop, great wee car and never get any probs with it and the missus will get insured no problem.
